Meet the Doctors

Dr. Janna Kautz
Dr. Janna Kautz completed her postdoctoral training in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). She provides psychological and psycho-educational evaluations, individual child therapy, and parent consultation. She specializes in the identification and intervention of children with ASD and social/emotional difficulties. Dr. Kautz also has a master’s degree in special education and a doctoral degree in school psychology from the University of Arizona. She has thirteen years of experience working with children with severe emotional and behavioral disorders. She has served as a behavioral consultant and has expertise in developing individualized behavior plans for home and school.

Dr. Janice Sammons
Dr. Janice Sammons provides pediatric neuropsychological evaluations and psycho-educational evaluations. She specializes in learning problems, attention deficit disorders, and brain injury. As a former teacher, special educator, and researcher, she has extensive knowledge in the area of reading disabilities (dyslexia) and learning disabilities. Dr. Sammons has worked with parents and children with learning differences for more than fifteen years. Dr. Sammons also teaches special education courses at the University of Arizona as adjunct faculty.
